Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/22/2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 9 children present (27 points), ranging in ages from 5 months to 2 years, with the provider and 2 assistant caregivers supervising. The Inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care, and emergencies. A total of 2 children's records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed.
Areas of non-compliance were documented and reviewed with the provider.
Based on a review of children's records, it was determined the provider did not document in each child's record the method of verification of the child's age. Evidence: In the records for Child A and Child B, there is no documentation to show that the provider reviewed each child's proof of identification, including each child's age.
Plan of Correction:
I saw each child's birth certificate but did not document it. I will document it using the model form.
