Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 11:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the provider. There were four children in care ranging in age from two years through three years old for a total of eight points. Children were observed finishing lunch. Lunch today was meatballs, gravy, rice, orange slices and cucumbers with milk to drink. After lunch, transition to story time was observed and preparation for nap. Childcare areas and supplies and materials were observed. A walkthrough of the home was conducted.
Two children's records, one provider record, three household member records and two pet (cat) records were reviewed. The provider completed 17 hours of training for the license year. A complete first aid kit, battery operated radio and flashlight were observed and available.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
