A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 03/03/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 28 children were in care with 5 staff members present. Children were observed during nap time, free play and celebrating a classmate's birthday. Handwashing was also observed. A selection of staff and children records, the physical space, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports, medications and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental
