An onsite Code compliance inspection was conducted today. A total of 65 children ranging in ages of 3 to 6 years of age with 10 staff providing supervision was onsite today. Additional management staff also onsite. There were a total of 5 occupied classrooms which included one classroom outside. The children were busy making Valentine's, sitting in a circle while staff read to them, drawing on a white board and having snack. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of 5 children's records and 6 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined no non-compliances with applicable code sections. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
