The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 2:25pm to approximately 5:35pm. The assistant director was present and assisted the inspector throughout the inspection. The census for today?s inspection consisted of 110 children in the direct care of 12 staff. Additional staff were on site and available to the children throughout the inspection. During the inspection, the children were observed engaged in a variety of activities. The kindergarten students were observed during a group activity in the gym. The older children were observed playing outside in their designated groups. The preschool children were observed as they were waking up from nap and taking bathroom breaks. All staff members in each grouping of children were observed having positive interactions with the children. The menu was posted and today?s lunch consisted of chili cheese mac, cauliflower, oranges, and milk. All areas of the center including all classrooms, the gym, hallways, bathrooms, and playgrounds were inspected. Transportation is provided and 5 buses were inspected and found to be in compliance. The center is equipped with toys and supplies and items are available to the children. The first aid kit and non-emergency supplies were inspected and found to be in compliance. Medication is administered and five emergency medication authorizations were reviewed today. During the inspection, ten children?s records and nine staff records were reviewed. The most recent evacuation drill was documented on 10/22/2019. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented on 6/10/2019. There were no violations cited during today?s inspection.
