Comments:
A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 1/24/2024.There were 9 children present with 2 staff supervising. The children were observed during classroom time engaged in various centers and observed during snack time. A total of 5 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10 am and concluded at 11 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on temperature check and staff interview the center did not ensure that each restroom area provided for children shall have running warm water that does not exceed 120?F.
Evidence: The licensing inspector using a temperature gauge confirmed that the hot water registered 124.6?F at the sink in the bathroom.
Plan of Correction:
The director has reached out to the appropriate staff to get the hot water temperature fixed.
