Technical assistance was provided regarding the leniency for tuberculosis (TB) screenings for staff due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff should be screened as soon as possible and once the leniency is lifted, all staff are required to obtain TB screenings prior to hire and coming into contact with children per subsidy standards.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 11/24/20. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 76 children present and 11 staff. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable subsidy regulations. No violations were issued.
