Discussed and clarified the requirement (VAC20-780-80.) for each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on May 17, 2023. There were 25 children present, ranging in ages from 3 to 4 years, with 3 staff supervising and 4 parent volunteers. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records, 1 staff record and 4 parent volunteer records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
