01/30/20 Arrived 7:45am Departed 12:00pm A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are noted on the violation notice. Thirty-one children were in care today with nine classroom staff, an administrator and a cook. Five children's files and five staff files were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation.
Based on the review of five staff files the facility failed to ensure that all staff have a TB test or screening within the last 30 calendar days and before coming into contact with children. Evidence: 1. There are no TB test or screening results on file for staff #5. Hired 11-11-19.
Plan of Correction:
The director will ensure that Staff #5 has a TB test or screening and that all newly hired staff have the TB test or screening before coming into contact with children.
