Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 11:10am-12:45pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 7 children (16 points) in the direct care and supervision of 2 caregivers. A sample size of 4 children's records, 3 caregiver/household member records, evacuation materials, the first aid kit, and the playground were reviewed. The day care space was organized and had an abundance of age appropriate materials. The children were observed playing in the water sprinkler outside, toileting, and eating lunch (ham and cheese sandwich, vegetables, fruit, and milk.)
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
