An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:00am to 11:30am with the Director. There were 52 children in care, ranging from three to five years of age, supervised by nine staff. The children were observed practicing cutting with scissors, doing puzzles, coloring, playing with playdough, playing construction workers with blocks and costumes, and playing in a sensory table. Today was dress-up day for one class and they had a parade and went trick-or-treating inside the building. Six children?s records and three staff records were reviewed and were in compliance. The Center has adequate staff certified in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation. Three medications and authorization forms for two children were reviewed and the center has two staff current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The emergency drill log was reviewed.The most recent Fire Inspection was dated 3/4/19 and the most recent Health Inspection was dated 3/13/19. Lunch is brought from home for each child.
