Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/28/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. All rooms are in ratio during the inspection. Children were resting quietly in each room. 2 staff and 4 children's records were reviewed. Emergency evacuation drills, first aid supplies, injury reports, medications and emergency supplies are all in compliance. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on a review of documentation all required component are not included in the emergency preparedness plan.
Evidence: The plan available for review did not include continuity of care.
Plan of Correction:
Continuity of care was added to the plan during the inspection.
