Comments:
An unannounced, mandated renewal inspection was conducted on 10/30/2023. The inspector arrived at 10:00am and departed at 11:00am. One child was in care with the provider. Play time was observed, Two provider/household records and two children's records were reviewed. It was reported that no medication is administered to children in care and no children's injuries were reported. An exit meeting was conducted with the provider prior to closure of the inspection
Based on record review and interview, it was determined the provider did not ensure that individual records for each child enrolled in care include all of the required documents. 1. The record for child #1 did not include documentation of a physical examination conducted by a physician. 2. tTe provider verified that a physical examination was not in the record for child 1.
Plan of Correction:
The parent will be notified that the health record must be submitted to the provider.
