A complaint inspection was initiated and concluded on 7/19/2022 regarding a complaint that was received by the department on 7/13/2022. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of Religious Exempt Code of Virginia; Child abuse and neglect and Mandated Reporting.
The following ratios of adults to children were observed:
Early Preschool (age 2 1/2 to almost 3 yrs) - 6x1 staff
Preschool 2 and Pre-k (3-4 years) - 7x1 staff
Infants 1- 3x1 staff
Infants 2 - 2x2 staff
Toddlers - 6x2 staff
Two's A and Two's B (2 years old) - 8x2 staff
School Age Camp - 13x1 staff
Pre-k Class (4 yrs old by September) 7x1 staff
The information gathered during the inspection was not sufficient to support the allegations of noncompliance with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
