Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on 09/29/2023. There was 1 children present and 1 Caregiver. A tour of the home was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, record review and interview with provider the following did not meet the criteria on the health and safety checklist at the time of the monitoring visit. Evidence: 1. The first aid kit did not contain at least 2 triangular bandages or tweezers 2. The provider did not have documentation of practicing shelter-in-place drills or lockdown drills. 3. The provider did not have documentation of the following required information: Insurance Declaration, Information for Parents, documentation of annual updates to each child's file.
Plan of Correction:
The first aid items were purchased the day of the inspection. The provider is working on making a master copy of all of the policies required.
