A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted on March 14, 2023 from 11:45am to approximately 2:00pm. There were a total 4 children in care with two staff members supervising. During the inspection, the children and staff were observed participating in activities. Staff were observed having positive interactions with the children. All play areas and the bathroom was inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The family day home is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. During the inspection, five children?s records and two staff were interviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations resulting from this inspection.
