Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/23/2024. There were 3 children present and 1 caregiver. A tour of the home was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation the license did not ensure potentially harmful substances were stored away from food.
Evidence: On the top of the refrigerator there was zip locks bags of snacks and two disinfectant spray bottles next to them.
Plan of Correction:
The licensee moved the disinfectant sprays to another area that was out of reach of children and away from food.

Description:
Based on observation the licensee did not ensure small electrical appliances were unplugged. Evidence: There was an electrical water kettle plugged into the electrical outlet in the kitchen.
Plan of Correction:
Licensee will unplug the kettle after each use.
