An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:30 am - 1:30 p m with the center director and staff. There were 114 children, ranging from four months to eleven years of age, present with 16 staff supervising. Children were observed participating in structured center activities that included arts and crafts, sand, blocks, home living, and games, preparing for and eating lunch. Lunch served today was a bologna and cheese sandwich, peas, peaches and milk. Ten children's records and six staff records were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was observed and in compliance. Four medications and authorization forms were reviewed and in compliance.
