A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 05/22/2024 from 10:00am to 11:10am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 26 children ages 3 months to age 2 years old supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, outdoor playground area, programming, attendance, menus, 3 staff records, 3 children?s records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in art, singing, reading and outside play. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT), CPR and First Aid, and Daily Health Observation (DHO) training.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
