This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on March 18, 2021 and concluded on March 22, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were nine children present and two staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records, two caregiver records, and one household member record submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on a review of caregiver records and interview, the caregiver did not ensure that a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job duties was obtained.
Evidence: 1. The record for caregiver #2 did not have documentation of 16 annual training hours.
