Comments:
An unannounced complaint investigation was begun on 4/23/2024 in response to a complaint received 4/22/2024. Classrooms and outdoor play areas were observed. Staff training records were reviewed. There was evidence to support one element of the complaint. The complaint is valid.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, the staff at the center failed to hold a bottle- fed infant while the infant was being fed.
EVIDENCE: Child 1 was semi-reclined in an infant chair on the floor, and a staff person was giving the child a bottle. Per Staff 1, Child 1 is unable to hold their own bottle.
