Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, 2/4/2020. Upon arrival to the center the classrooms were busy playing in the various centers. Some class went for a ride in strollers in the hallways due to the weather preventing them from going outside. Lunch, hand washing and diapering was observed or discussed during the inspection. Medications were also observed. There are 13 children in care ranging in age from 22 months to three years with five staff and one kitchen staff. A review of children and staff records was also conducted. Should you have any questions please call your inspector. Inspection began: 9:50 am ended 12:40 pm.
Based on observation the center did not maintain all rooms in a safe condition. Evidence: 1. The playroom used by all children in care has paint peeling off the wall.
Plan of Correction:
Staff have placed a maintenance request to have this area repaired.
