Technical assistance was given regarding diapers disposal: "Disposable diapers shall be disposed in a leakproof or plastic-lined storage system that is either foot-operated or used in such a way that neither the staff member's hand nor the soiled diaper touches an exterior surface of the storage system during disposal."
Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an announced non-mandated modification inspection at the center on Monday, January 6, 2020 from approximately 10:15am until 10:45am. During this inspection, the licensing inspector reviewed required documents and completed measurements for the new proposed Caterpillar Classroom (16-24 months of age room) to determine the increased capacity for the center's modification request. The licensing inspector also inspected the classroom area to ensure compliance. Based on the configurations obtained by the licensing inspector during this inspection, the center would be issued a modification of the license to increase their capacity to 90 children. Based on observations on 01/06/2020, the center did not ensure all electrical outlets shall have protective covers.
Evidence: 1) The licensing inspector observed four electrical outlets in the new Caterpillar Classroom that did not have protective covers.

A copy of the current schedule in the classroom will be made today for posting in the proposed classroom.
