Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. There were 80 children in care being supervised by 12 staff. The children were observed resting and playing outdoors, infants were observed engaging in free play and being bottle-fed. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and three staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation of three staff records it was determined that not all records contained documentation of a negative TB screening by the first day of employment or no more than 30 days before the first day of employment. Evidence: 1.) The records for Staff A (start date: 11/30/22) and Staff C (start date: 10/3/22) did not have documentation of a negative TB screening on file. 2.)The record for staff B (start date: 11/14/22) had a TB screening on file dated 09/24/2022.
Plan of Correction:
Staff A and Staff C will obtain a TB screening and submit the results to administration. Staff B will obtain a new TB screening and submit the results to administration.

Description:
Based on observation of the Toddler room it was determined that not all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place. Evidence: A bottle of cleaning solution was observed on a low shelf in the toddler room.
Plan of Correction:
The cleaning solution was locked during the inspection.
