Consultation today included ideas for ensuring similar medications are even more clearly distinguished.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 2:45 - 4:00 pm on a Teachers' Workday. There were 29 children present with 4 staff. I observed children finishing projects of bead fusing, 3 D bracelets, working with puzzles, reading books, building with Legos,and even organizing books by fiction/nonfiction! Based on a review of medication records, not all paperwork had all required items. Evidence: The medication authorization for Child # 3 had a physician's signature but no parent signature as required..
