This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on December 3, 2020 and concluded on December 4, 2020. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 1:10 p.m.. A virtual inspection was conducted beginning at 1:25 p.m. with the provider via video conferencing. There were 12 children present ages 9 months through 5 years old with 2 staff. Older children were observed napping. Younger children were observed having playtime on the floor. Child care areas, supplies and materials were observed. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed three children?s records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
