When providing infants with tummy time, it is recommended it is closely supervised and done on a surface that is not soft or fiber filled.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Upon arrival there were 112 children in care with 23 staff present. A sample of 5 staff and 9 children's records were reviewed. Children were observed during lunch and preparing for nap. Infants were observed during tummy time, diapering and being changed.
