Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/28/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not ensure that there was a written list of all children's allergies that was dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.
Evidence: 1. The physical examinations indicated that children #3 and #4 had food allergies. These children were not listed on the written list posted in the rooms used by the children. Child #3 first date of attendance was 1/14/2020 and #4 first date of attendance was 11/12/19.
2. The administrator was asked about the lack of the children on the list and stated that an updated list was in process.
Plan of Correction:
The children will be added to the updated list that is dated.
