Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 1:50 pm-2:45pm. There were
6 children directly supervised by the provider The home, provider record, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. Diapering procedures were also discussed and observed. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based upon record review, the provider did not maintain complete children's records.

Evidence:
Child A's record did not have proof of child's age and identity required by 8VAC20-800-80
Child B's record did not have documentation of an annual review of emergency contact information as required by 8VAC20-800-780B

Plan of Correction: I will get information when parents pick up.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-340-C
Description: Based upon observation, paper towels were not available to children washing hands.
Evidence: The bath room had flooded and children were observed washing hands at the kitchen sick and using a cloth towel to dry hands.

Plan of Correction: I will get paper towels. Parents complain that the paper towels cut kids hands.
