This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 6, 2021 and concluded on January 8, 2021. The assistant director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 11:25 a.m. A video inspection was conducted beginning at 11:45 a.m. and a walkthrough of the center was completed by video. There were 32 children present and 6 staff. The inspector emailed the assistant director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and three staff records to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were up to date and the monthly menu was reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspctor has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
