Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was offered regarding background checks for household members.
Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 9:15am through 10:35am. There were 5 children (13 points) with 2 caregivers present. 5 children's files, 2 caregiver's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, playing with puzzles, circle time in English and Spanish, and learning the alphabet. A walk through of the family day home and outdoor play area was conducted. There were no medications on site. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on records review, the family day home did not update children's records annually. Evidence: 1. Child # 1, Child # 2 and Child # 3's records were last updated on 11/5/18. 2. Child # 4's record was last updated on 6/3/18. 3. Child # 5's record was last updated on 9/27/18.

The records will be updated today.
