Comments:
A renewal inspection was initiated on 12/1/2022 at 8:40am and concluded on 12/1/2022 at 10:00am. There were a total of 9 children (25 points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, games, snack, bathroom breaks, hand washing, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 9 child records and 2 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based on review of children's records, emergency contact information did not include name, address and telephone number of two designated persons to contact in case of an emergency if the parent cannot be reached.

Evidence: Child #1 did not have a second emergency contact on record.

Plan of Correction: Center will obtain and keep a complete record of a second emergency contact for child #1.
