Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including phone contacts, documents review, and a virtual inspection. A renewal inspection was initiated on 01/31/2022 and concluded on 02/10/2022. The director was contacted by phone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 24 children present, ranging in ages from infant to preschool age, with 8 staff supervising and or present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of three child records and three staff records were reviewed.
The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review and interview, the center did not have an annual fire inspection. Evidence: 1. The last fire inspection report documentation was 10/16/2020. 2. The director stated the fire inspection was conducted 2/2/2022 but the fire inspector has not sent the report yet.
Plan of Correction:
The director has emailed the fire inspector for the report and will send it to the licensing inspector when it is received.
