An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted with the provider on September 26, 2019. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date (see separate report for details). Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were four children present, ranging in age from 21 months to 3 years old. The caregivers have documentation of the mandatory VA Pre-service Training and are currently certified in first aid and CPR. There are no children with diagnosed food allergies currently enrolled.
Reminder: evacuation drills are required monthly, shelter in place drills are required twice a year, and a lockdown drill is required once a year. Lockdown drills are to isolate children from a security threat; shelter in place drills are to protect children from a natural or manmade threat. Time of today's inspection: 2:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
