Comments:
A renewal inspection was conducted on April 12, 2024 with the provider. There were 4 children present, ranging in age from 10 months to 4 years, totaling 10 points. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 0 child records, 1 provider, and 2 household member records were reviewed. The older children were sitting in individual spots on the carpet playing blocks - please provide a wider variety of activities.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of two household member records, the provider failed to have household members complete subsequent background checks in accordance with the Code of Virginia every five years. Evidence: The record for Household member 2 contained results of a search of the central registry check (CPS check) dated 2018, but did not have an updated CPS check.
Plan of Correction:
A repeat CPS check was submitted into the portal.
