An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between 8:00 am and 10 am. At the time of the tour there were 3 children in care with 1 staff present. Children were observed watching television, being held and taking a nap. A sample of 3 children and 1 household record was reviewed. There were no children with food allergies. Records for the family pet was also reviewed.
Based on observation the licensee did not ensure all requirements were met when feeding infants formula. Evidence: There were 3 prepared baby bottles in the refrigerator that were not dated.
Plan of Correction:
The following corrective action was provided by the licensee during the exit interview: The licensee will get tape and keep it in the kitchen to label the baby bottles.
