Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. The children were sitting at a table finishing lunch. Handwashing was observed after lunch before they transitioned to the floor to an activity with the provider. The children were learning the letters A thru I where they took turns naming the letters and identifying each letter by pointing to them on a poster. Positive interaction between the provider and the children were observed. Walk thru of the entire home was conducted. No medication or topical ointment needs at this time. No identified food allergies. The home was found organized and well maintained. A total of 6 children's records, Provider and all household member files were reviewed. Previous violation reviewed and corrective action verified. This inspection occurred between 10am and 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Based on child record review, immunizations were not obtained before two children began care. Evidence: 1. Child #1 started on 12/5/2022. Documentation of immunizations were not obtained until 12/13/2022. 2. Child #6 began care on 11/16/2022. Documentation of immunizations were not obtained until 12/13/2022.
Plan of Correction:
Immunizations will be obtained before any new child begins care.
