An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 9 children (26pts) with 3 staff were present during the inspection. At the beginning of the inspection, all 9 children were engaged with staff singing and dancing to music. They began playing with the assorted toys and equipment in the main programming room. Walk through of the home was made. One new crib since the last inspection. Manufactured date of June 2023. Observation of the diapering area, bathroom and eating area was made. Some infants transitioned to their high chairs where staff was observed serving them lunch. No medication or topical ointment needs at this time. The children were excited about the upcoming snow and were expressing their desire to play in it. A total of 4 children's records and 3 staff files and 1 household file were reviewed. This inspection began at 9:45am and ended at 11am. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
