This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/01/2021, and concluded on 2/24/2021, approximately from 10:47 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. There were 2 children supervised by 1 direct care staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The physical plant, 1 staff record, 1 child?s record, children activities, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected. During the inspection, children were observed in individual activities. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
