Technical Assistance:
Technical Assistance was offered regarding central registry for a household member reaching the age of 14 years, new employee records.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:00 am to 12:10 pm. There were 5 children (16 points) present with 2 caregivers. The children were observed playing with toys, washing hands before lunch and eating lunch brought from home. 5 children's records, 2 caregiver records and 1 household member records were reviewed. Emergency drill records were current and there were no medications on site. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violation notice. Based on record review, the family day home did not obtain additional immunization records for children under the age of two, every six months. Evidence: Child # 1's (16 months old) most recent immunization records were dated 7/2018. Additional immunization records were not obtained for Child # 1 after that date.
Plan of Correction:
I will ask the parents to bring in the immunization records.
