Sheila Nelson License Inspector Virginia Department of Education Office of Child Care Health and Safety Division of Early Childhood Care and Education 804-629-7489
Based on a review of written daily attendance records, and an interview with the provider, the provider failed to keep a written record of children's attendance for each day of operation during recent months. Evidence: 1. There were no attendance records to review except for the current week of the inspection. 2. When the daily attendance record was asked for, the provider stated that she has not been keeping the attendance records and discarded them each week.
Plan of Correction:
I will keep the attendance records as required starting this week.
