An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted 3/19/2024 from 4:50pm through 5:35pm. There were 14 children directly supervised by 6 staff. The physical plant, programming, menus, 6 staff records, 5 children?s records, 2 medications, emergency drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing with legos, dolls, board games, and chess. Other groups of children were completing homework and playing four square in the gym. Positive interactions between children and staff were observed during this inspection. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials for the children and the center was clean and organized. There was an adequate number of CPR/First Aid, Daily Health Observation, and MAT trained staff on site at the time of inspection.
A modification inspection was also conducted this date in response to the center's request to increase the licensed capacity to 100. Observations were made in the cafeteria and gym and there is adequate space to accommodate for the requested capacity. The spaces was previously measured and also support the capacity increase.
