Technical Assistance:
Provided consultation on providing sight and sound supervision when children use the restroom.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 7:00 - 8:00 am with the PL2. There were 17 children upon arrival, ranging from five years to ten years of age, supervised by 2 staff. 15 additional children and one additional staff member arrived during the inspection. Children were observed participating in arts and crafts, building, playing games and completing homework. Four children's files were reviewed and in compliance. The last documented fire drill was conducted: 10/30/19 and the last shelter-in-place drill was conducted: 6/7/19. There was no medication to review. Based on observation and staff interview, the facility did not ensure all children were accurately included on the attendance report. Evidence: There were no children marked present on today's attendance sheet, and 17 children were in attendance.
Plan of Correction:
Will ensure that all children are marked in as they arrive, and marked out when they leave.
