Technical Assistance:
Discussed Enviormental Sanitation inspection , Vehicle procedures refer to 550 K and 580-5, include on vehicles emergency numbers, adress, phone number for the center, list odf names of children riding the bus, allergy action plan needed on vehicles, and injury reports need to be clear of what staff was present.

Comments:
A unannounced mandates monitoring inspection was initiated on March 8, 2024 from 8:25am- 11:15am. There were 39 children with 8 staff present. Children were observed particpating in puzzle activities, coloring activities, and participating in multiple activites. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, staff qualifications and training, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 6 children records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Outside area was inspected and vehicles were inspected. The Outside area had new surfacing .

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure children under 10 years of age always shall be with in actual sight and sound supervision of staff.

Evidence:
In the infant room, a infant was sleeping in a crib. There was no one in sight supervison of the infant. Staff #3 was observed in the classroom next to the infant room. Confirmed by person in charge walking with inspector during a tour of the facility.

Plan of Correction: The infant room teacher was trying to grab a walkie talkie to ask for a bathroom break . We have given staff members additional training and instruction to call out from the door to office staff if immediate attention is needed.
