A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 02/22/2024 from approximately 10:04 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. There were 40 children present ranging from seven months to five years old and five staff supervising. A renewal inspection was also conducted. Both inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined a violation with applicable standards or laws. Based on staff record review, the provider failed to ensure that three of six staff that work directly with children complete annually the department?s health and safety update course. Evidence: The record for S1 documented the last health and safety update course was completed 05/26/2021. The record for S5 documented the last health and safety update course was completed 06/29/2022. The record for S6 documented the last health and safety update course was completed 05/25/2021.
