Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 3/6/2024 from 3:45 pm to 4:35 pm and staff records were checked at the main office on 3/6/2024. There were 9 children in care, ages six years to 11 years, in one group with two staff. Three child records, three staff records, and other documents were reviewed. Children were observed having a snack and in free play indoors.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the center failed to have two staff on site currently certified in first aid.
EVIDENCE: There were two staff on site, and Staff 2 was not currently certified in first aid.
Plan of Correction:
The first aid class for certification is currently being scheduled.
