8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 9/19/2022 from 12:41 PM to 1:23 PM in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The provider's record was reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training and current certification in First Aid and CPR.

Based on a review of documentation, the provider did not conducted an annual lock down drill.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will ensure that a lockdown drill is conducted and documented annually.
