Technical Assistance:
As discussed, only 1 carbon monoxide detector is required.

You are reminded to ensure that physicians offices either sign or stamp the immunization documentation to ensure the document is received directly from the physician's office.

Comments:
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 10 children 25pts) with 3 staff present today. The children were in two groupings. The older children were observed sitting at tables completing an art project with staff, engaged in table top activities such as magnets, dolls or drawing. The younger children were on the floor crawling or interacting with staff with toys. Two cribs in use currently which are located upstairs. Observation of both cribs and the upper level of the home was observed. No medication needs at this time. A total of 4 children's records were reviewed. No new staff since the last inspection, all background checks and health records remain current. This inspection occurred between 10:20am and 12pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Description: Based review of topical ointments, one ointment was used beyond the expiration date of the product.
Evidence:
A topical ointment for Child #1 expired in January 2022.

Plan of Correction: This topical ointment will either be returned or disposed of.
