Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/15/24 from 8:17 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. with the provider. There were three children in care, ranging in age from two to 10-years-old, for a total of three points. Children were observed in free play. Three child records, three staff records, and two household member records were reviewed. The provider has current certification in CPR and First Aid. There was no medication on site and the provider has current certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on review of documentation and interview; the provider did not obtain the results of a search of the central registry for a household member within 30 days of turning 14-years-old.
Evidence: The record for Household Member #2, with a date of birth of 10/30/09, did not contain the results of a central registry check.
