Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:10am-11:50am. There were 7 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, preparing for lunch and helping a friend with a boo-boo. Diapering procedures were also discussed. There was an ample supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based upon record review and interview, emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly as required.
Evidence: Emergency Drills were not practiced/ documented for the months of February, March, April, May June, July and August 2022.

Description:
Based on observation and interview, the diapering surface was not cleaned and sanitized as required.
Evidence: Cleaning product of vinager and water does not meet definition of sanitizer as part of the cleaning and sanitizing routine after each use of the diapering surface.
Plan of Correction:
I was trying to use natural products. I will go back to using the bleach water solution.
